Node Tests

• There are ten node tests:

  • name
  • *
  • prefix:*
  • @name
  • node()
  • text()
  • comment()
  • processing-instruction()
  • point()
  • range()

• A node test is attached to an axis to specify which nodes along the axis are chosen.

• For example:
